Sunset from our balcony

Dave took some pictures of a beautiful sunset from our balcony the other night. Thought I would share. Enjoy!!!
What can I say? It's hard to take your own picture!

I LOVE NBA League Pass!!!

I do, I really do!!! It has been so awesome to be able to follow the Blazers here in Aussie. One of the things that I didn't think I would like about it at first, has turned out to be pretty good. That is, the away games are broadcast by the opposing team's broadcasters. So if it's our home game, we get to listen to Mike and Mike. But all of the the other teams broadcasters are have been giving high praise to, of course, my favorite, LaMarcus!!! They are talking about how he should have been an all-star this year, no other power forward is playing any better, etc. Also, some other team's players have been interviewed, and have also talked about how well is playing and how much confidence he is playing with! Yeah, baby!! It's been very nice to hear how other people talk about the Blazers, you know people who aren't as biased as we are in Portland. Yeah! Go Blazers!!!!!!!!!

Manly Beach

On Saturday, we got to do something with Dave - FINALLY!!! He's taking this work thing way too seriously. We didn't have super great weather, but that made the ferry trip quite exciting. There were a ton of sailboats out in the harbour and a couple of them got way too close to our ferry boat!! It was kinda scary. Really windy. And crossing the bar was quite rough. But fun!!! We didn't take many pictures, but I have to share this one from one of the shop windows!!!
Quite creative, I'd say!

Katy and John left this morning for Portland. Boo Hoo!!! I'll be waiting for our Blazer buddies Karen and Dan to arrive next, followed by Sandie (the LaMarcus fan extraordinare). I can't wait!!!

Bondi and Blue Mountains with the Fam

Yay, the weather got back to normal!!! We had a spectacular weather day at the beach, a little cloudy at the mountains, but overall pretty darn good. Here's a few of Katy's pics from these 2 days.

Taronga Zoo

As you will be able to tell from the following pictures, our day started out cloudy, but ended in spectacular sunshine! YEAH!!!!!!! To get to Taronga Zoo, you take a ferry, then cable car. The zoo sits on the side of a hill. So we started at the top and made our way down, through the zoo, and were able to see some beautiful views of the city en route.

All above photos taken from the ferry ride

John made a new friend on the ride, from the UK
From the SkySafari cable car

There were huge spiderwebs, and the spiders were also huge!

My personal favorite of the day!
A really, really fun day! I am so glad that it didn't rain! After we returned to the city, we just happened to dock right next to our favorite ice cream shop! The flavor of the day, hazelnut chocolate crunch!!!
Yeah, baby!

Sydney Harbour Bridge Walk

We had a pretty good break in the weather Monday afternoon, so we walked down to The Rocks, shopped, ate some sushi and walked over the Harbour Bridge. There is a Bridge Climb, which is an organized trip onto the top arch of the bridge, but we decided to just walk over first. Here are my pictures from the trip. If you look closely, on one of the bridge pics, you can see a group of people going up to do the bridge climb.
